1. It is mandatory to link PF account with Aadhaar

There is going to be a big change in the rules related to provident fund. According to the new rule, the PF account of every account holder should be linked with Aadhaar. It will be the responsibility of the employer to ask his employees to get their PF basis verified. This new rule will be applicable from 1 June. EPFO has also issued a notification for employees about this. If the employer is not able to do this, then the contribution of the employer in the subscriber's account can be stopped. Also, UAN of subscribers is also required to be verified from Aadhaar.

2. Income Tax E-filing Site

Even though the date of income tax return has been extended, people want to do e-filing ahead of time. However, if you are also thinking like this, then you will have to wait 6 days. According to the Income Tax Department, the e-filing service of the department will not work from June 1, 2021 to June 6, 2021.
Keeping in mind the facilities of taxpayers, a new portal of income tax e-filing is going to be launched. This portal will be more convenient than the previous website. Data migration from www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in to the new portal www.incometaxgov.in has been completed. The new portal is going to be launched on 7 June.

3. Positive Pay System will be implemented in Bank of Baroda from June 1

Bank of Baroda customers should note that from today onwards, the method of payment by check has changed in the bank. The bank has introduced 'Positive Pay Confirmation' for its customers, in which the issuer of the check will have to give certain information related to that check to the paying bank electronically. This information can be given through SMS, mobile app, internet banking or ATM. Customers will have to confirm the details of the check under the positive pay system only when they issue a bank check of Rs 2 lakh or more.

4. Domestic air travel fare will increase from today

The DGCA has increased the lower limit of cap imposed in rent in the country last year by issuing an order on Friday. According to reports, domestic air travel is going to be expensive from June 1. The fare will increase from 13% to 16%. According to the Union Civil Aviation Ministry, the lower limit of fares for aircraft with a distance of 40 minutes has been increased from Rs 2,300 to Rs 2,600. At the same time, the lower limit for flight fares of 40 to 60 minutes journey has now been increased from Rs 2,900 to Rs 3,300 per person. It is a matter of relief that the government has kept the upper limit of cap imposed for rent in the Kovid period as it is. Due to this, the maximum air travel fares will remain the same as those which have been running for the last one year.

5. LPG becomes cheaper from today

Big news for LPG customers (LPG Gas Cylinder). On 1 June (1 June 2021), government oil companies have cut the prices of gas cylinders. IOC has given relief in the prices of 19 kg Commercial Gas Cylinder (LPG Price Today). At the same time, there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. Domestic gas cylinder prices remain stable for the third consecutive month. There has been neither increase nor reduction in these. Let me tell you that the price of 19 kg cylinder was reduced earlier in May. According to the IOC website, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder has been cut by Rs 122 in Delhi from June 1, after which it is priced at Rs 1473.50 per cylinder.

6. Space of Google Photos will no longer be free

From today i.e. June 1, you will not be able to upload unlimited photos in Google Photos. Google says that 15GB of space will be given to every Gmail user. This space also includes emails from Gmail as well as your photos. This also includes Google Drive. If you want to use more than 15GB of space, then you will have to pay for it. Till now unlimited storage was free. To use Google Photos, now you have to take a subscription of Google One. After this, for 100GB, you have to pay Rs 149 every month or Rs 1,499 annually. Similarly, for 200GB, Rs 219 will have to be paid every month or Rs 2,199 annually. Not only this, for 2TB space, Rs 749 will have to be paid every month or Rs 7,500 annually.


7. Those earning from YouTube will have to pay tax

If you earn from YouTube, then after June 1, you will have to pay YouTube for this. Nowadays people are earning a lot of money by making videos on YouTube. In such a situation, now you will have to pay tax on the earnings from YouTube. However, you will only have to pay taxes for views that have been received from US viewers. This policy will be launched from 1 June 2021.
